100 Days of Brave- (Day 2)
Today was officially day two. Today's devotion asked me to think of ways that God was working on my behalf, here's the funny thing about that question, we get so wrapped up in our daily lives that we don't see those little miracles that happen every day, every hour, every minute or even every second. As I sat here I was thinking hard about ways God was working on my behalf or just showing up for me, then behind little chuckles, I looked to my right and saw today's blessing: My nephew. See I was ten years old when he was born, and I fell in love with him instantly. He quickly became my real-life baby doll and little sibling that I always wanted. As the years went by, we grew up with each other, and in many ways, he became my little best friend. We would do everything together from Universal Studio dates to movies or merely lounging around watching tv.
This evening I had the opportunity to experience that special bond once more. We started with a cooking lesson for his class, to me being treated to Starbucks and ended the night with a movie that we would watch together when he was just a baby, Shrek. Why did I see God at this exact moment you ask? Because these special moments are always happening around us, but we refuse to look at them for what they are. God is continuously working on our behalf and showing up for us. So now I am turning the question to you, I challenge you to think of ways that God worked on your behalf or showed up for you recently.
XOXO,
Lynette Sahar
