100 Days of Brave- (Day 1)

Happy Monday!

I am trying something new, instead of dreading Mondays I am going to try and see it as an opportunity, a new beginning to correct or perfect what went wrong the week before. I had an eventful weekend, something truly magical happened….. I have been inspired. I don’t know if it was the combination of Yoga and estrogen that filled the room or the fact that I had a Reiki healing for the first time. Whatever it was I am open to it and welcome it in my life. This past year has come with so much change, and the one thing I continue to do is accept it. I have learned that the one thing that makes change hard is wanting to fight it or stop it from happening. I mean let’s be honest, the main reason there are only three posts on my blog actually has more to do with the fear of what people will think then not having something to write about. I have always put myself out there under aliases, so the reality of tying a face with my thoughts is scary. My creative outlet is the one place I have been afraid of changing or even altering in the slightest way.

Walking into my favorite store also took me on a spiritual/ exciting journey. I am the type of person that follows her gut and lets life take the wheel. As I walked down the aisle, I spotted two books next to each other, the first a compilation of poetry and the other a collection of devotions for Unlocking your most courageous self. If that was not a sign, then I don’t know what is. So for the next 100 days, I will be dedicating a special section to my “100 Days to brave”. I am excited and nervous to see how this journey goes. I will also tag the book if you folks want to give it a try, Day one’s assignment was to tell someone I started, and since I am forcing myself to actually stick to this, I decided that putting it on my blog would be better. I can keep track and see just how far I’ve come, here goes to day one and my 100 day journey toward a braver life!

Xoxo,
