Open letter to my husband
First official blog post! I thought it would be fitting to write about my husband since our anniversary was last month. You know, they tell you marriage is going to be difficult, they tell you that it's hard work, compromise, and dedication. What they don't tell you is how much you grow from it, how you discover the type of person you really are or could be. I am happy I married my husband. In no way are we perfect, rather, I'd like to think of us as perfectly imperfect for each other. Again my love, happy two year anniversary this post is dedicated to you. Thank you for your support and for pushing me to finally do this!
Open letter to my husband:
My love,
Two years have gone by faster than a blink of an eye. I wanted to take this time to thank you! Thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for having the patience when I have fallen short. Thank you for loving me so tenderly and allowing me to grow as a person, as a wife, and as a friend. I have seen how the boy I fell in love with has transformed into the man of my dreams and more. Thank you for the simple things like letting me pick the best looking dish when we go out to eat. Thank you for allowing me to grow in my faith at my own pace, God has been an important part of our relationship and will continue to be. Thank you for loving my friends and family as much as I do even if they prefer you to me. My career has always been important to me and you understand that you never make a big fuss when I have to travel for work even if you miss me like crazy. You truly make coming home the best part of my trips. Thank you for the countless back rubs, foot massages, and cuddle sessions. Thank you for letting me rearrange the furniture around the house even if it secretly annoys you. For letting me vent when I've had a bad day or I'm annoyed at the most random thing on earth. Thank you for your sacrifices and for loving me unconditionally. But especially thank you for trusting me with your heart and allowing me to be part of your life to witness all the things you have yet to accomplish! We don't know what the future has in store for us but I am happy to have you as my partner for life.
